I love Alaska, I love Alaska, I love Alaska. At least that is the mantra I repeat to myself on days like this. I just got back from walking my son to the bus stop in -21 degree weather. My thighs are still frozen and my eyes are leaking the fluid that froze on my very quick walk. Mornings like this make me miss California even more than I already do, but I remind myself that I love Alaska, but lately Alaska is not returning the love! The weather man promises that it will warm up to a blistering +20 by Friday, I fear that if it doesn't warm up the weatherman might be run out of town(maybe to somewhere warm?) and I might be leading the charge LOL
Ok once again say it with me I love Alaska, nope still nothing it is still damned cold. Apparently Alaska hasn't gotten the memo that we are suffering from global warming?
Oh well summer is a short 5 or 6 months from now, Yay for 50 degree days and not to forget sunshine :)

Man oh man...I like snow but thats too cold for me. You need to come visit us 40 deg today and crazy hot in the summer. Haha we stay in the water in the summer. Seriously though if you ever get a wild hair it is really pretty here...and of course you could stay with us (we are kid friendly)
